View removed devices
In Clarios you don’t delete outdated devices one by one by hand. That’s handled by the automatic cleanup you set up once. Whatever was removed stays visible on the Deleted outdated devices tab at any time, which is handy for keeping track of what was cleaned up.
👤 Viewing the tab is open to anyone with the Reader level. To set up and switch on cleanup, you need Writer or Admin rights (see Find devices that haven’t checked in for a while).
Step by step: view removed devices
- At the top, click the Deleted outdated devices tab. The Deleted Devices Table shows the removed devices.
- Find a specific device using a column’s magnifier icon (Search), or narrow the list with a column filter (All types, select, Apply), just like in the main view.
✅ Done. You can see which devices were cleaned up, with these details per device:
| Column | Content |
|---|---|
| Name | Device name. |
| Entra ID | The device’s Entra identifier. |
| Device ID | Azure device ID. |
| Object ID | Object ID. |
| Intune Device ID | Intune device ID. |
| Device Owner | The device owner. |
| All BitLocker Keys | The BitLocker keys backed up for the device (encrypted). |
| Local Admin Password | The backed-up local administrator password (encrypted). |
ℹ️ Note: In this view, the BitLocker keys and the local administrator password are encrypted. To get the readable values of active devices, use View BitLocker keys and LAPS passwords (Admin only).

How removal works
How and when devices are removed is set in the Devices Settings dialog (see Find devices that haven’t checked in for a while):
- Outdated Devices: the inactivity threshold at which a device counts as outdated.
- Device Check Interval: how often the check runs.
- Backup Age: how long removed devices are kept (Set with a day value, or Never).
Use Activate Cleanup to switch the cleanup on.
⚠️ Caution: Once switched on, Clarios removes outdated devices on schedule. Review the threshold and Backup Age first.
Good to know
- Get notified by email: When you turn on notifications under Notification Email in the Devices Settings dialog, the configured recipients are informed about cleanup at the chosen interval. Under Notification Interval you pick the interval (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, or Annually), and under Recipients up to three addresses. For details, see Find devices that haven’t checked in for a while.
