See and analyze sign-ins
You want to know who signed in, when, and whether it worked, for example to spot repeated failed attempts. This guide walks you through the Users page, from the time range to a finished PDF.
👤 Required role: Reader (read-only access is enough)
🖼️ Screenshot: The filter bar of the Users page. At the top, the time-range dropdown with View Data; below it, in the Sign In section, the User, Login Result, OS Distribution, Is Managed Device, and MFA Method filters. Light theme, ~1440 px wide.

Step by step
-
Open the time-range dropdown at the top (it starts on Select) and pick a range: Custom, Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, This Month, or Year. Custom opens a calendar for a start and end date (no future dates); Year opens a year picker.
-
Click View Data. The analysis loads for the chosen range, and the sign-in line chart appears in the Sign In section.
-
Narrow the sign-ins if you like. The Sign In section has more filters above the chart, and each change takes effect immediately:
- Login Result: Success or Fail.
- OS Distribution: one operating system.
- Is Managed Device: True (a managed device) or False.
- MFA Method: a specific sign-in method.
The OS Distribution and MFA Method lists are built from the sign-ins in your own environment, so they look different for everyone. Each filter has a × to clear it.
-
Search for a single user if needed: open the User dropdown on the left, type a name in the Filter field (the list searches as you type, so you don’t need the full name) and select the person. The chart then shows only their sign-ins. Use the × in the User field to clear the selection.
-
Read the chart: the x-axis is time (its scale follows your range), the y-axis counts sign-ins. Hover over a point to see the exact value in the tooltip.
✅ Done. You see the sign-ins for exactly your selection.
💡 Tip: You can combine filters, for example User together with Login Result = Fail to find one person’s failed attempts. A lot of failures can point to wrong passwords or attack attempts.

Save this view as a PDF
Turn the current view into a PDF you can share or file. The chart in the PDF matches what your on-page filters produce.
- Click Export PDF in the top-right. The Export Users Dashboard as PDF dialog opens.
- Pick a value from the period dropdown: Last 7 days, Last 30 days (default), This month, Last month, This quarter, This year, or Custom range. Custom range reveals a calendar. Pick a start and end date (only then is export possible).
- Click the dialog’s export button. It briefly shows Exporting…, then the PDF downloads.
✅ Done. Your PDF (clarios-users-dashboard_<date>.pdf) is in your Downloads
folder, with a Clarios header for the Users dashboard, the chosen period, and the
time it was generated.
ℹ️ Note: The period you pick here only sets the label in the PDF header. Which sign-ins appear in the chart is decided by your filters on the page.
