My customers

As an IT service provider you look after the Clarios environments of several customers. On the My customers page you accept invitations from your customers, see your active customers, and switch into their environment.

Step by step: accept an invitation

  1. Open the My customers page. If a customer has invited you, the invitation is at the top under Pending invitations, with the customer name and “invited by …”.
  2. On the card, click Accept.
  3. Check: you see Partnership accepted, and the customer moves down into the Active customers section.

✅ Done. The partnership is Active. The access now runs for 90 days.

ℹ️ Not interested? Click Decline. You see Invitation declined and the invitation disappears. (If there are no open invitations, Pending invitations isn’t shown at all.)

See your active customers

Under Active customers are the customers whose partnership is Active. If there are none yet, it shows You have no active customer partnerships yet. Each card shows the customer name and, where set, the expiry date as “access until …”.

Switch into a customer’s environment

🚧 Planned, not yet available everywhere. Switching into a customer’s environment (“acting as”) is behind a feature switch that is often still off. Accepting or declining invitations and seeing your customers always work; switching in does not, everywhere. On top of that, your account needs the clarios.PartnerOperator permission in your own tenant.

When switching in is enabled, here’s how it goes:

  1. On the customer card, click Switch in (or, in the top bar, click Switch to customer… and pick the customer).
  2. You now work in the customer’s environment as a normal Clarios user. A colored banner stays at the top, showing that you are working in the customer tenant and that all actions are logged.
  3. To go back, click Return to MSP in the banner.

✅ Done. You’re in the customer’s environment and ready to work. You have full Clarios access within the app there, but no customer-owned administrator approvals; those stay with the customer.

⚠️ Caution: Check the banner before every action so you don’t work in the wrong environment by mistake. Everything you do is tied to your real sign-in name and is visible to the customer in the audit log.
