Review controls

You want to know more precisely what a single check means or why it failed. The Security Controls list shows each check as its own row. Here’s how to find the right one and read its details.

👤 Anyone can view. You don’t need any special rights for this.

Step by step

  1. Open the Security Insights overview and go to the Security Controls section.
  2. Find the check you want. Type a name into the Name column and confirm with Search (reset with Clear). You can narrow the list further with Status, Block, and Tags.
  3. In the row, click the magnifier icon in the Actions column. A window with the details opens.
  4. Read the details:
    • Test result: the check’s result. Use the copy icon to copy the text to your clipboard.
    • Test Description: what the check actually verifies.

✅ Done. You now know what the check means and where you stand.

Good to know

  • Each row has a Status: Passed (all good), Failed (something to do), Skipped (skipped), NotRun (not checked yet), or Exempt (exemption set).
  • Tags group each check by topic. Filter by them to see all checks of one area together.
  • If you’ve set an exemption for a check, the detail window shows the Justification and the End Date instead of the result.
  • Need help with a deviating setting? In the overview tables, the help icon in the Support column opens the How to resolve the issue? window with an explanation and instructions, plus the Contact support and Cancel buttons.
